Marrawah Tramway 0-6-0 saddle tank, circa 1930


The Marrawah Tramway was a 28 mile (45.1 km) cape gauge (3'6") forestry railway near the town of Marrawah in the northwest corner of Tasmania. It was bought by the state government in October 1913 and the rails extended to Marrawah. It was decommissioned in 1961.
