Deutsche Bundesbahn VT08 diesel multiple unit, West Germany

This is a still from the movie Das Wunder von Bern right at the end, based on Germany's win in the 1954 World Cup for soccer, but as experienced through the eyes of a young fan whose father has recently returned from a Russian Prisoner of War camp (following Stalin's death in 1953) and it provides a good insight into West German life at that time.

Malaysian tram stamps, 2015

The last picture is of a locomotive-hauled train, not actually a DMU, however, it could be of the push-pull type where there is a driving cab at the end of the last car which is used when travelling in the opposite direction.  These are common in Europe.

Wellington Airport Opening First Day Cover, 24 October 1959

It's not clear what the 1855 in the stamp is a reference to -- Wellington was declared a city in 1840 and became the national capital city in 1865.  It could be the earthquake of 1855 which raised some of the land later occupied by the airport.
